Construction and Operation

Throughout the construction and lifetime of the proposed solar park, BSR is committed to ensuring that the impact on the local road network and the local community is kept to a minimum. Further details on the construction route will be uploaded in due course, as we continue to engage with transport specialists and Derbyshire County Council Highways will be contacted for advice regarding traffic management. The construction traffic route will be included in our consultation for feedback from residents.

A Construction Traffic Management Plan (CTMP) and Transport Statement will be prepared to accompany this application and to ensure the safety of all road users, including Public Rights of Way (PRoW) users, and to support visibility requirements. 

Once operational, the site will generate only minimal traffic for occasional maintenance visits.
